Golden Entertainment promotes three distributed gaming executives

LAS VEGAS (March 29, 2017) – Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN) has promoted three executives who oversee the company’s market leading distributed gaming operations in Nevada.

Golden Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Steve Arcana announced that Jimmy Wadhams is now vice president of Southern Nevada Route Operations; Danny Wadhams is vice president of Northern Nevada Route Operations; and Brent Edlund is vice president of tavern operations.

Golden Entertainment is Nevada’s largest slot machine route operator with 10,000 games at nearly 1,000 locations. The company is also Nevada’s largest traditional tavern operator with 54 wholly owned locations statewide.

“Distributed gaming and tavern operations continue to provide a significant portion of Golden Entertainment’s growth opportunity in both Northern and Southern Nevada,” Arcana said. “These fine individuals have been dedicated to the business and have shown tremendous leadership capabilities.”

Jimmy Wadhams began his career with Golden Entertainment in 2007 and held several sales and management roles for the company. He is a graduate of University of Nevada, Reno, with degrees in Political Science and Business Administration.

Danny Wadhams previously managed the sales team for the Southern Nevada route before transferring to Reno in a similar role in 2015.  He joined Golden Entertainment in 2010.  He is a graduate of University of Nevada, Reno and holds a degree in Business Management.

Brent Edlund joined Golden Entertainment in May 2016 with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industries. Edlund held key food and beverage positions with Station Casinos, Silverton, The Rio, Excalibur, and several national restaurant companies.
